Product or Packaging…What’s More Important?
Just because a product has a unique design it doesn’t mean you’re gonna buy it, right? I hate to say it but even though we all say no a lot of the time we do buy something just because of the packaging. By having a beautiful packaging design, the overall image of that product is better than that of a product in a generic package. Believe it or not, many people sometimes buy an item just because it looks cooler than the competition. This is sad, but so true. Now I’m not saying, you should sell crap with a good desing on it, what I’m trying to say is that you should sell a quality product with quality packaging. This way you will blow your competition out of the water! Some samples of the type of packaging I am talking about are in the pictures below.
