Plastic Your Savior in a Snowstorm

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

snow_covered_carMany of us either don’t have  a garage or for some reason or another we just don’t keep our cars in them.   So when a snowstorm arrives we usually find ourselves digging our cars out and scraping our windows free of ice.  If we are really lucky our doors get frozen shut and we have to pour hot water on them to pry them open.

What if I were to tell you that this is all unnecessary?  For just a few dollars you could make your life a lot easier for yourself.  All you need is some heavy weight poly sheeting to cover your car with during the storm.  Close the ends of the sheeting into the bottom your car doors to keep it in place and go inside to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa and a great movie.   When the storm is over simply release the sheeting from the door and pull.  The snow will slide of the car easily leaving you with a completely snow free car that just needs a few minutes to warm up.  And who said plastic was a bad thing?  I think it’s pretty great and can be reused over and over again so it is pretty “Eco Friendly” as well.

So I say, “ let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!”

Yesterday is history. Tommorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift that’s why they call it the present.

The “NEW” Brown Bag

Monday, February 15th, 2010

During these difficult economic times, we are all looking for ways to cut costs. Giving up our starbucks coffee,  and even packing a bag lunch.  Now is the time to start packing yourself a low cost lunch.  Think of the money you could save, by not running for fast food everyday at lunch. Not to mention time and aggravation.  And while your at it, why not make it a healthy lunch and maybe you could save a few pounds.  So, you’re saving money, saving pounds, let’s save the earth too.    If you’re a business, this is a great custom gift for clients and employees, you’re name will be showing up everywhere.  Having a family reunion, need a new fundraiser, own a deli, you may want to consider a reusable lunch bag with your logo on it.
